Summer Is In the Air!

Well, it is finally spring break here in Broomfield, Colorado, but it hardly seems like spring at all. I thought that the best thing to do would be to incorporate a little positive energy into a post all about summer! I have decided to write a post dedicated to the five things that I am most excited about for summer in 2017.

Colorado DECA State Conference 2017

For those of you who do not know, I have participated in DECA for the last two years, which is a business club where members compete in roleplays and create presentations that mirror real life business situations. I went to the state competition for Colorado DECA both my junior and senior years of high school, but this year at State was particularly memorable.

Let’s Go to Friday Harbor!

On our third day on San Juan Island, we finally had the chance to venture into the town of Friday Harbor! Friday Harbor is a seaport (where our ferry came in that first night) and full of many different shops, restaurants, hotels, and museums! While the town was a bit of a trek from the house that we were staying in, it was worth it to venture out there and see what Friday Harbor was all about!
